The colours glow in a wild dance. A monument to modernity rises up in front of me: Le Moretti, the ventilation tower, a work by the artist Raymond Moretti that reflects the soul of the city of Paris in its boundless creativity. The coloured metal tubes stretch metres high into the sky, as if they had the power to lift the city beneath them and release it into colourful freedom.
Red, blue, yellow, green - the tubes unite to form a pulsating work of art that radiates an explosion of life and movement in the steel austerity of the La Défense office district. No beginning, no end, just an endless flow of colour that almost makes you forget the grey concrete and glass all around.
