Leiden City Hall was originally built in the Golden Age. The old Renaissance façade on Breestraat dates from 1600. The part on the Vismarkt was rebuilt in 1932 after a fire in 1929.
In the foreground the Koornbrug. The Koornburg over the Nieuwe Rijn was used to trade corn in earlier times.
