Seeing a leopard (Panthera pardus) in daylight is always a magical moment. What makes this specimen in Kafue National Park, Zambia, even more special is that I spotted it myself, even before the guides did. He then quietly posed for a few seconds in the morning sun, before disappearing into the tall grass. Also beautiful in black and white.

All my life I have been a nature lover, and for almost 15 years I discovered the joy of photography. Since a few years I started to develop myself seriously in the field of bird photography (although I also like to photograph mammals and reptiles on holiday). More and more people in my surroundings encouraged me to offer my work for sale. For a long time I did not dare, because the competition is fierce. However, in the meantime I have come to realize that my work is quite valuable. After all, all the photos I offer are taken in the wild (and freehand), as opposed to many of the online offerings that are shot from shelters and other preconceived situations where birds are lured with food. This makes my photos less "clean" but gives them a more natural character. What I saw is what you get!
