The abstract roof construction of Liège-Guillemins railway station was designed by Spanish-Swiss star architect Santiago Calatrava.
"As if fallen from the sky, colours in situ and in motion" is the title of the installation by French painter and conceptual artist Daniel Buren, which opened in mid-October 2022. Around a third of the glass surfaces were covered with coloured vinyl films, creating interesting colour effects inside the station.
The colour combinations chosen by the artist are very bold and do not necessarily fit into every living environment. If you photograph in black and white mode instead, the result is an image with finely graduated tonal values that looks timeless and elegant.
The image was photographed in high resolution and is printed with a great deal of expertise. This makes it ideal for large-format prints!
For all fans of abstract architecture, this is a very unique work for your own four walls!
Photography is painting with light. According to this motto, my pictures are created, whether as a long exposure or simply in the first or last light of the day.
Photography is more than a mere reproduction of reality. My pictures tell stories, create moods.
