Lilies are mainly known as cut flowers. The special colours, large flowers and typical scents adorn many a living room.
The lily is, just like the tulip, a flower bulb but actually it is better to consider it as a perennial. The roots of the lily do not die, as is often the case with other flower bulbs.

Because I like to walk a lot and capture the beauty of nature I got an "old" Nikon D5200 from a hobby photographer friend of mine.
I thought it would be fun to photograph flowers from up close so I quickly bought a macro lens. This gave me a lot of pleasure. Nature is so beautiful.
Later I traded my Nikon in for a new camera. A Sony from the A series for which I also bought a macro lens. Besides photographing nature, I also find it interesting and facinating to photograph (dilapidated) buildings and objects.
