Abstract processing of a landscape photo, by editing the photo you get a cross section of a photo. The original photo was taken in the Weerter forest.
The Weerterbos is a nature reserve in the Dutch province of Limburg, located northwest of Weert. The area is in the territory of the municipality of Nederweert. The Weerterbos consists of forests, fens, grassland and small heaths. Since 1969 foundation Het Limburgs Landschap buys land in the Weerterbos. In 2008, this foundation managed an area of 615 hectares here. However, there are still many small plots in private ownership. The Weerterbos was traditionally on the territory of the municipality of Weert. In the early 1990s, a land exchange took place between Weert and Nederweert with the A2 freeway becoming the border between the two municipalities. The Weerterbos then came to belong to Nederweert.
