About the artwork

So special to meet a lion in the wild. The lion and lioness were mating to provide offspring. We were out very early this morning because we had heard there were lions in the area. That they were mating was an even bigger surprise. We had to stay at an appropriate distance so as not to disturb the mating. With a 500mm lens, it was still easy for me to follow and photograph. A photo of the mating is also in my portfolio, by the way. The lion was chased away by the lioness after the mating and then its head popped up nicely above the brown grass, making this a beautiful colour combination. This was a very special and special experience that I won't soon forget. A beautiful work above the sofa, in a hair salon, canteen or restaurant. Should you purchase this work, I wish you a lot of pleasure from it.
