About "Lion looks sleepily into the camera in Botswana"

About the artwork

A young male lion lies on the ground (soft dry desert sand) and looks into the camera, with half-lidded eyes.

He is lying on his left side, with his legs to the left and his head towards the camera. His head is shown in its entirety, of the rest of his body only the start is visible. It is therefore a close up portrait.

You can clearly see how well his colors camouflage because his body is the same color as the sand. Because he looks sleepy he looks cute, but at the same time strong and young.

I took the photo in Kgalagadi National park in South Africa on one of my safari trips. When we set out again early in the morning, we found this gentleman lying right next to us. He was asleep when we arrived so he only opened his eyes for a moment to look at us.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
