Colmar is perhaps the most famous city in French Alsace. It is an attractive place with many colourful half-timbered houses that attract many tourists. Next to Strasbourg and Mulhouse, it is the largest city in Alsace. Located in an area that has belonged to both France and Germany in history, the city is a combination of the two in terms of style and culture. Colmar lies at the foot of the Vosges Mountains and in the middle of a large wine-producing area. It is close to the banks of the Rhine.
Here we see a well-known part of Colmar, the so-called Little Venice in the evening, during the blue hour.
