Little red church in Flakstad on the Lofoten Islands in Norway. Dating back to 1780 and once built by Russian sailors, the little church seats 250 people. A fun fact is that the tower was temporarily 'towerless' in 1874. A storm had damaged the little church so much that the tower was off. In 1938, the tower was put back on, and the red colour ensures that the wood is well protected from the Norwegian weather.
