A black and white treatment for this photo art view of the lock at entrance to St Saviour's Dock in London. Originally a slum area and once a busy dock, the area has now been through a major renovation phase and comprises largely luxury apartments, shops and offices. This lock is wide enough to allow for bicycles or, as is the case in London, joggers! Jogging along the South Bank of the Thames and across this lock is a popular pastime. I think it is often missed by tourists as they head to the more well known Shad Thames and Butlers Wharf area, but in reality it is only a short walk from there and well worth a visit.
