The African sunset is iconic, during a safari on the Serengeti I took a series of sunset photos. This is one of them.
The Vachellia Tortilis ( the typical African umbrella tree) stands lonely on the planes. The foreground is partly illuminated by the setting sun. The tree itself falls into shadow, making its darkness stand out against the light sky. Clouds hang threateningly over the savannah and the sun is about to come out from under the cloud cover.
I travel a lot and from my passion for travelling, the love for photography has flowed.
What started as capturing personal photos of my travels has now grown into making photo reports. I try to capture the moments as purely as possible so that everyone, wherever they are, can enjoy the moments I have had the pleasure of experiencing and capturing. I am a travel photographer which means I have to be multifunctional, taking portrait, landscape, nature and wildlife photos.
I try to appeal to people who have been to these places themselves, seen these animals or experienced moments but have not been able to capture it themselves in the way they would have liked. But also appeal to the people who have not been able to visit these places but want to be amazed by the mystique that surrounds these faraway destinations.
Either way, I hope you can enjoy my work.
