A classic shot of the Maassluis harbour. Maassluis is a city in the western part of The Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. Maassluis was founded circa 1340 as a settlement next to a lock (in Dutch: sluis) in the sea barrier between the North Sea and Rotterdam.
Maassluis was the only harbour in The Netherlands where tugboats had their home base in the old days. I took this image in the afternoon on a bright day using a polarization filter. The bright light and limited wind helped to Geta nice reflection on the water. Wouldn't this be something special on your wall?
