White tulip with Delft blue boat. This white tulip was photographed with the so-called Rembrandt light, meaning the light comes from one side. This is how I photograph almost all still lifes, take a look at my other photos. I mainly shoot still lifes of flowers, fruit or vegetables. I find it a lot of fun. I get ideas by looking around me, like this idea. I still think Delft blue is a beautiful craft and with the white tulip, which is also really Dutch, I think it is a special combination. I am often inspired by the old Masters such as Vermeer and Rembrandt. I also made the background of this picture myself. It is a canvas which I painted in black and dark blue. The simplicity of the picture makes it a calm image. This picture can be used in a modern interior as well as in a rural interior.
My name is Clazien Boot (1964), I'm a photographer, always looking for unique moments to capture. Create images and think I find a lovely activity. Playing with light is a beautiful challenge. Different elements have so much influence, just think of a diamond, this won't shine without light. I am inspired by many around me to look as I'm always discovering and my creativity is stimulated. Through the training professional photographer I especially my technical knowledge widened and experiences gained in many aspects of photography. Discover an unknown city or take a walk in nature, a good wine and a fun book so I can enjoy it and often with my camera at hand.
