In the summer of 2013 we visited New York. Next to the viewpoint on the Empire State Building, the viewpoint of Top of the Rocks is an absolute must, especially during sunset. This is also what we have done. The sky and clouds attracted me enormously. On one side you can see the dark clouds of an imminent thunderstorm and on the other hand the soft pastel clouds typical for a mild summer evening. The photo is an HDR panorama shot so that all details of the sky but also of the buildings were recorded.

My name is Alexander Mol. I am a management consultant who is passionate about taking photos and who likes to travel and explorer the world to escape from the fast lane. I love to shoot landscape or cityscapes and explore HDR, pano's and long exposure. All my shots are in raw doing so I have all freedom in post to edit them in colour or in black & white. In the end my goal is take make stunning images reflecting the emotion I had when visiting the nice locations I visit when travelling.
