Sirena sits quietly with a sea turtle on a rock in the sea and looks straight at you with a sweet smile. Beautiful shells lie on the ground and are in her braided hair. An ornamental goldfish swims up to her.
Here, too, Anne-Marie Somers has delivered top-notch work. An oil painting on a linen canvas and it took weeks before she felt it was finished. The goldfish and turtle provide exciting elements. The color palette is limited but sparkling and the painting has a stately composition. Because she and her daughter saw the musical Ariel, she got the idea to paint a series of mermaids. We think she succeeded particularly well in doing so.
This mermaid painting can hang in any room of your house and how about the bathroom? Or just above the couch but also in a girls bedroom as wall decoration (eg poster). A great gift or just to spoil yourself.
We wish you lots of viewing pleasure.
