About the artwork

I am fascinated by the stories walls tell. This abstract photographic work is my ode to the beauty of impermanence and the poetry of weathered textures. The bricks, enveloped in their rust-brown sheen, and the fragile plaster slowly unravelling, leave behind a history that becomes tangible in the image.

My inspiration comes from the quiet power of decay and the traces left by time and nature. In this work, I capture the essence of abstract photography: a world where shapes, lines and textures merge into an intriguing spectacle. The atmosphere is one of contemplation-a moment of calm, where imperfection reveals its own beauty.

This work resonates with the tradition of abstract photography, such as that of Aaron Siskind, who used surfaces and textures as expressive elements. It also evokes memories of the aesthetic of wabi-sabi, the Japanese philosophy that embraces imperfection and impermanence.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
