It is only in spring that the Christmas roses grow on the higher Alpine pastures. When the setting sun illuminates the discoloured leaves from just behind the mountains, a beautiful play of colours is created with beautiful contrasts.
The photo was taken at the Sulzenalm in Filzmoos, Salzburgerland. The mountain at the back is the Bischofsmütze, the highest point of the Gosau ridge.
My passion is photographing landscapes as beautifully as possible.
'Make visible, what without you might never have been observed.' This quote by Robert Bresson is the essence of my photography.
Enjoy my photos. For any questions you can write me of course: coen@coenweesjes.nl..
