As part of his art research, he is an avid traveller and known for his expressive versatility. Throughout his successful career, the artist has distinguished himself by the high degree of multidisciplinary professionalism in his creative research.
Having travelled to Japan, he was fascinated by Japanese culture and nature.
He has produced a refined series of artworks in which he extensively explores the spirituality and phenomenology of the Land of the Rising Sun. The series, characterised by the use of different media, is a recapitulation of his time in Japan and displays a refined language built on particular devices reminiscent of Zen calligraphy, the delicate chormatism of Japanese woodblock prints and the suspended atmospheres typical of the Kanō school
