Mystical photo recording of the 32 meter high Porte de Paris triumphal arch on Place Simon Vollant in the 11th century city of Lille. The arch on the square is surrounded by stately old buildings.
The triumphal arch was built in 1687, in honor of 'sun king' Louis XIV, and is one of the many beautiful buildings in Lille.
Nature photography and travel photography. Two forms of photography that appeal to me enormously. Both are great to combine!
I love to look for the sometimes more unknown, but special places that are unique and characteristic of a town or city. An authentic narrow street, a stately building or a picturesque square, photographed with different conditions in weather and light, which results in powerful photos.
I also try to show the weather and the lighting clearly in landscape photos. Long exposure times for a dreamy atmosphere or beautiful clouds for a dynamic panorama also yield powerful photos.
This way I am always traveling through nature and culture!
