New York is the largest city in the United States. The city is the most densely populated major city in the United States with over 9.5 million inhabitants spread over an area of 789.43 km². New York City consists of five boroughs or boroughs: The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. Many monuments and districts of the city are world famous and are often a symbol of the United States in general. There are the Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, skyscrapers like the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building, the old, in 2001, destroyed by terrorists, World Trade Center with twin towers and its successor, the 2014 opened One World Trade Center. My heart starts beating faster when making digital art.
My name is Nannie van der Wal and I am the digital visual artist behind Mirabelledigitalart. I create digital art that expresses my own feelings and dream world. Taking photos alone is therefore not enough for me. After I've pressed the shutter button on my camera I want to add my own creativity to an image. I look at which photos I want to combine and if I'm only going to use part of a photo. Then I start working with Photoshop to add various edits to my digital creation. In my work you can see my love for textures, contrasts, exposures and use of colour.
