The image presents a fascinating visual manipulation of a mountainous landscape, with the massive mountains rising like the jawline of a female face. Amid these majestic peaks and lush trees, a visual symphony unfolds in which nature seems to take on its own forms, a harmonious interplay of mountainous contours and organic lines.
A striking element in this tableau is the cheetah, which has nestled itself in a tree, its paw carefully placed to form an eye on one side of the face. On the opposite side is a kestrel, whose eye functions as the second eye of the imaginary figure. These animals, each with their own symbolic meaning, add an element of mystery and dynamism to the composition, and raise questions about the relationship between man and nature, between animal and spirit.
The image manipulation invites contemplation and reflection, challenging the viewer to unravel the deeper meaning behind the fusion of natural and animal elements. It is a visual masterpiece that celebrates not only the beauty of nature, but also the complexity and subtlety of human creativity and imagination. With its intriguing details and symbolism, this image is an invitation to a journey through the boundless possibilities of the imagination.
It all started with a4 paper and HB pencils. As a child I was often impressed by how beautiful the world around me was. The urge to capture this beautiful world, and to show the people around me what I saw, was actually there from the beginning. If I remember correctly, I was about eleven years old when I first met the camera. Of course it was a simple compact camera with a ridiculous quality, but I enjoyed it.
I sometimes said I wanted to be a photographer, but of course you have one of the two parents who says, "Dream on." Strangely enough, I followed the sarcastic remark as advice, and still went to study photography.
