I took this picture in the Harderbroek near Zeewolde. It is what they call "new nature" which has actually been created. When I went to this nature reserve I didn't count on fog, I did take advantage of it in this photo. The wind turbines are outside the nature reserve in an arable field. If you look closely you can see 2 swans swimming on the water. When I took this photo it was almost windless and you can see that on the water surface. I have chosen to render this photo in 16:9.
Welcome to my shop. My name is Gerard de Zwaan and I was born in 1983 in the Veluwe town of Harderwijk, where I still live. I started photography in 2013. My first camera was a Nikon D3200 which I still own, currently I use a Nikon D7200. Every now and then I also use 1 or 2 Nikon SB700 reportage flash units to highlight a subject. From the beginning I mainly do nature photography, it is mainly landscapes I photograph, the Veluwe woods around Harderwijk being a perfect starting point for this. Occasionally I do macro photography and sometimes I photograph wildlife. Occasionally, I also do portraits of people, which can be commissioned or free work.
