A 16:9 photo in Black and White of the imposing Neptune Fountain, commissioned by Maria Therea in the 1770s and designed by Johann Ferdinand Hetzendorf von Hohenberg.
The fountain is centred around the God Neptune, who stands with a trident in front of his shell-shaped chariot. At his side and around him is a figurative cast of gods, nymphs and sea creatures surrounding him, from which water flows into a higher basin before flowing into a shallow but wide basin below.
The Neptune Fountain is located in the gardens of Schönbrunn Palace and is in Hietzing, Vienna, Austria.
