A fine long-exposure shot in the evening/night of the Old Canal of Utrecht city, at the Twijnstraat a/d Werf. The picture shows the wonderful dutch architecture and atmosphere that can be witnessed in this city.

Going out and clicking pictures of what I encounter is one of my passions. The challenge is to make the most of the interplay between weather, light and landscape.
On the one hand I capture the grandeur of the landscape. On the other hand I am always looking for details that I can enlarge. I always follow the light. I shoot in the surroundings of Utrecht; Amelisweerd, Krommerijnstreek, Utrechtse Heuvelrug but also regularly elsewhere in the country.
On top of my wish-list for photography are always rough landscapes, such as the Alps, Scotland, Scandinavia etc.
