North American Aviation B-25J Mitchel "Hot Gen!"
North American Aviation B-25J Mitchel "Hot Gen!" in action at Thunder over Michigan Airshow in 2015.
Delivered by the factory just after World War II, this B-25 Mitchell changed hands regularly from 1946 onwards. In 1975, it was bought by the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, which restored the aircraft. In 1992, the bomber was nicknamed "Hot Gen!".
The photo was taken during the Thunder over Michigan Airshow on 29 August 2015.
I am Jaap van den Berg and photography has become a great passion of mine since 2010. Since then I travel all over the world to take pictures of military aircrafts. But besides aircraft I also love to photograph other subjects like landscapes, architecture, flowers, animals, ships and cranes. Evening photography and macro photography are also something I enjoy doing.
