Troll route viewpoint
Along the world-famous highway, there are several viewpoints where you should definitely stop. Here, you can look out over the valley, or just over the green mountains. You'll find a combination of impressive nature and today's modern architecture here.
The Trollstigen National Tourist Route is a car route through the beautiful nature of Norway. The route is about 106 kilometres long and takes you past impressive viewpoints, waterfalls, green mountains and the Norwegian fjords. The Trollstigen, also known as the Troll Route, is one of Norway's most popular tourist attractions. Every year, an awful lot of tourists come to drive this popular car route or travel the route by bike. Be careful if you go cycling though, the route has spots with a 10% gradient. After hard work by clever road builders and engineers, it is now possible to ride up the enormously steep mountain Trollstigefoten. You then end up in Stigerøra. Stigerøra is a beautiful viewpoint from where you can look out over the whole area.
