A beautiful and still relatively little visited place in America is the place Sedona. Sedona itself is known for its laid-back atmosphere with many galleries, stores and restaurants. But even more beautiful is the area, also called Red Rock Country. You will find beautiful red rock formations with meaningful names like Cathedral Rock and Devils Bridge. Also the hiker can easily spend a week here. Among other things, we did the hike to the West Fork of the Oak Creek Canyon. A five hour hike where you walk along the Oak Creek deeper and deeper into the canyon. Eventually you come to a beautiful rock, carved around by the water, which looks a lot like a tunnel tube. Here you can only continue if you wade through the water.
