This church is part of an abandoned college that's been built halfway through the 19th century. The purpose of the college was to educate priests. Finding approved teachers was quite the challenge and around the 70's in the 20th century the college was left abandoned.
Students were forced to follow a strict daily program and had only 2 nights a week private time to spend however they wanted. The college also had its own farm right next to it which was used to feed the students and teachers.
Roman Robroek is a photographer who captures forgotten places around the world. In particular, he is focused on creating stunning pho-tos of abandoned locations, rich with wonder, mystery and unanswered questions.
