In the old Moroccan town of Essaouira (formerly Mogador) you will find, in the harbour, a dry dock where old, wooden boats are expertly restored. It is an idyllic setting where you can take beautiful high-key photos's (against a bright background) of these pretty boats and their parts. Time has taken care of the sallow colours of the paint and the photogenic corrosion of the metal.

Guido Rooseleer is a versatile nature photographer. As a biologist he has a broad interest in everything that lives.
