An abandoned house where the kitchen is left behind as if the residents could come home at any moment. Nothing could be further from the truth, the house has been empty for more than ten years. It is very special to enter a house that has been empty for so long, and where the contents have been left behind. You wonder who might have lived there, the table suggests four people. But, of course, only one or two people could have lived there. The trick is for me to capture the atmosphere that hangs in the house in my photo. Then the photo succeeded for me, and so did the visit to the abandoned house. We leave it the way we found it, and for the next ten years, time can do its work.
