An old man and a sacred cow in the maze of alleys found directly behind the Ghats of Varanasi, India's holiest city. Hindus and pilgrims come from all over the world for a pilgrimage to Varanasi, not only to pray but also to die. Many believe that if you die in Varanasi, you will immediately ascend to heaven (moksha).
