Golden beach, surf the waves, silence, the place to close your eyes and imagine the madness of the time. Omaha Beach is easily accessible, we were there in November and had no problem parking the car along the embankment road. Did a lovely walk along the long beach. It is a beautiful, golden beach, the wind blows through your hair, really a place you must have seen if you are here.
