abandoned church
My passion for lost-place photography Even as a child I loved to wander around abandoned buildings, much to the chagrin of my parents, but the urge to explore and the curiosity were just too great. That hasn't changed to this day, only the courage is no longer the same, thanks to horror films. Especially when objects have been left behind, be it machines or personal items, these places tell their own, quite exciting story. And at every corner there are opportunities to take beautiful photos. With my pictures I want to document the condition of the buildings before they are lost forever and irretrievably. Be it through natural decay, demolition or, which unfortunately happens far too often, arson. But it is precisely natural decay that provides the most beautiful photo motifs, when nature gradually reclaims everything.
Maybe this is what the future will look like, mankind is doing a lot for it, because the earth will be around long after we are gone.
