Dorothy Berry-Lound about Oriental Gardens Madeira 7

A beautiful image showing bamboo planting and a rocky outcrop next to the edge of a red Japanese pagoda. The photograph on which this photo image is based was taken in the Monte Palace Tropical Gardens in Madeira, Portugal. The gardens belong to a beautiful palace that was a famous hotel in the 18th Century which is now a museum. The gardens are open to the public and spread over a large area, on many different levels and planted with exotic trees and flowers. There are ponds, water features and more, all linked with pathways.

Born in the South of England I now live half way up a mountain in Umbria, Italy. I work from my art studio looking out over fabulous views of the Italian countryside. I am so happy to share my artwork with you.

An artist and writer, I specialize in photo art and acrylic painting. For my photo art, I start with my own photographs and work on them digitally to capture the feeling I want to convey with the final image. For my abstract work, I literally 'go with the flow' and follow where my heart wants to take me as I work.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
