The Westhoofd is a lighthouse near Ouddorp, in the Dutch province of Zuid-Holland, in the dunes near the Groenedijk. A reconnaissance light has been burning on the Toren van Goedereede since 1552. Because this light was no longer visible enough, between 1911 and 1912 a lighthouse designed by B.A. Verhey was built on the Westhoofd. It was the first Dutch lighthouse made of reinforced concrete.
Just beautiful pictures and something for everyone.
