Ricardo Bouman is an all-round photographer from South Holland with a passion for travel, art, culture and architecture.
His photo collection largely consists of travel photography with (mountain) landscapes, cityscapes, night photography of skylines and cityscapes and special weather conditions.
Important factors within his compositions are colour contrasts, tessellation, perspective, tension and drama. A lover of the weather, cloudscapes and thunderstorms, Ricardo always pays particular attention to weather conditions and captures the tension and menace of the moment. Ricardo edits his photos for colour, contrast and sharpness, but in a way that keeps the beauty of the subject intact and realistic.
He also photographs atmospheric images in his photo studio of Flowers and colourful 'Lay-flat photos' of fruits, herbs and spices in beautiful playful compositions, among others.
