This photograph was taken in the middle of 'Storm Barney', it was so windy I was propped against a lamp post trying to stay upright and stay still long enough to get a shot. This is, of course, the Palace of Westminster with the famous Big Ben clock, the seat of parliament and a very popular tourist attraction. It sits at the end of Westminster Bridge and behind this view is the River Thames. I wanted to do something with this photograph to simulate the stormy weather that night so I have added a texture to the image that suggests movement of the wind and a slight grungy feeling - which I can assure you is how it felt on the night in question! The things you will do for a shot!
