My name is Marijn Zeilstra. I am a self-taught photographer living in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
I've always been interested in photography. Probably because of my father who used to photograph with a SLR camera. In 2001 I bought my first digital camera for my vacations. It was a simple camera mainly meant for my vacations but it was a start. In 2014 I wanted to do more with my creativity besides playing bass guitar in bands. I wanted to do more with design. My interest in photography grew and I bought my first real digital camera.
From that moment on, I started to teach myself the trade. I went to workshops, spent days on YouTube, went to photo fairs and so on. I am a person who is always trying to get better and understand the matter. This also applies to photography. That's why my current equipment is up to date because I don't want to waste energy and time. This means that I can use my time more efficiently with my clients.
My current work in management has made it possible for me to move quickly into people, I had a job but stay with both feet on the ground.
