A cheerfully coloured pop-art surrealist work, in which the Paradise story and the Fall of man have been moved to the present.
The setting is the motocross terrain in Utrecht (Lageweide), with the waste mountain in the background functioning as a volcano. Adam and Eve are from paintings by Karoly Patko and Raphael, the giraffe is from a print from the collection of the Rijksmuseum (the Rijksstudio).
Nice print for e.g. a waiting room or an office.
Although working as a lyrical chronicler, sometimes I see things that are not there; I photograph and edit them.
Recurring elements are: carved mannequins (humanoids) and anonymous 19th century paintings. Working from 100cm I come to sign (Nl only).
