The Arctic sea ice is the domain of the Polar Bear. One beautiful evening we came across a mother and a little Polar Bear being chased by an adult male. Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2023 (#WPY59). All my pictures were taken in the wild, so nothing from the zoo! I have been photographing since I was twelve years old and the focus has always been on nature photography. In the Netherlands I mainly look at birds, but abroad mammals also have my interest.
