Pollard willows waiting for the spring in reflection. In the Driemanspolder near Stompwijk these Pollard Willows can be found along a polder canal. It was almost windless, so they reflected beautifully in the water. Everything is at rest; the willow branches without leaves, the dry reeds. There are 4 chairs waiting for people to take a break in a spring sunshine

Good day, how nice of you to visit my profile in 'Work on the wall'!
I'd like to introduce myself.
I'm Elizabeth van Pelt-Verkuil, a photographer at heart.
I make high demands on the quality of my photos; also on the post-processing.
Photography is in my blood and many of my photos are about nature and other cultures. Originally I am a biologist and that helps me choose my subjects. In my 'Work on the Wall' account you will find a selection of my photos; of landscapes, plants and animals; both in color and black and white.
In my work I want to get away from the 'standard plates'. I want to raise questions, make people look at colours, shapes and structures from nature.
