On a bike ride along cornfields, I discovered this fairy-tale poppy field with waving grain and red poppies. I find the delicate flowers fascinating because they radiate strength despite their delicate leaves. I also find the transience special. They only last for a short time and new ones are constantly emerging, creating a play of seed pods and new flowers. I went back again a few days later and by then there was little left of the field. You really have to encounter these flowers at the right time.
Especially in the evening light, the hairy stalks are easy to see. As you cycle past them the color red pops out of the landscape from afar.
A wonderful summer atmosphere. The wind was a challenge here because the flowers and branches are so delicate and they sway in all directions.
And of course I could only stand at the edge of the cornfield because I could not damage the ears for the new harvest.
I strive to make you really "see" that which you are always "looking at" now. In my photography, I want everyone to remember what we don't want to forget. Because every day gives us special moments. I photograph special moments in a creative way. I like to photograph in nature, but am also often working in the studio. I am always looking for the special. Sometimes this arises automatically in front of my lens. Sometimes I will create it.
