Paul Signac (Paris, 11 November 1863 - there, 15 August 1935) was a French painter and graphic artist. He began with Impressionism and was later seen as an important representative of Neo-Impressionism and within it Pointillism and was one of the founders of the Salon des Indépendants (1884).
