About the artwork

If you have ever visited beautiful Andalusia in southern Spain, you have probably also visited the imposing Puente Nuevo in the city of Ronda. The original painting is painted with watercolour on watercolour paper with beautiful pastel shades and striking light and shadows.
The painting exudes tranquillity and at the same time gives you an immediate and nice holiday feeling. I really enjoyed this Spanish region at the time (at least 25 years ago) and therefore made a painting of the architecture of this special old bridge. The painting has been photographed in high resolution and is available as an Artprint in both small and wall-filling sizes. Think of a painting for above the dining table or as wallpaper in the kitchen, hall, bedroom or as wall decoration in a tapas restaurant or travel agency. Puente Nuevo 'which means new bridge' is a stone bridge that spans the deep gorge Tajo de Ronda with the river Guadalevín as one of three bridges. The gorge is up to 120 metres deep in places. Puente Nuevo is the newest bridge connecting Ronda's Mercadillo (market) and La Ciudad (the old town) districts. Puente nuevo has a height of 98 metres and José Martín de Aldehuela was the architect. In 1740, the bridge collapsed during construction. Construction resumed in 1751 and was completed in 1793.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
