Reed grass (Phalaris arundinacea) looks like reed at the vegative stage, but has a fuzzy tongue instead of hairs.
Reeds can reach 1–3 m.
The stem stands upright and the 1–3 cm wide leaf with tapered top is gray-green.
The plant grows in water or on the water's edge on wet, sweet to brackish soil.
Photography is my biggest hobby/passion....

People/buildings/animals/flowers/holiday countries.
