Reflecting Life' was made in the nature reserve 'het Deelerwoud' on the Veluwe. In the foreground is a dead branch, while in the background is a beautiful tree, where just light appears behind. The rising sun.
In the photo you can also see that it is freezing. On the dead branch and the grass you can clearly see frost. Yet the photo looks somewhat warm because of the warm glow of the sunrise in the background. The whole picture looks soft, detailed, mystical and soothing.
