Reflections of snow-capped peaks in the Lemaire Channel. I found the Lemaire Channel a very special place to be. It is often very calm. There is often hardly any wind, which produces fascinating reflections in the water. The peaks of the mountains reach straight up here.
This narrow strait is actually a regular part of every expedition that passes the Antarctic Peninsula.
