Two icons on The Hague's Spuiplein are captured here in one photo: the City Hall, also known as the Ice Palace and cultural center Amare, formerly known as the Spui Forum. Using one of the many puddles on the Spui and a wide-angle lens, a beautiful mirror effect is created. The silhouette of a casual passerby stands out sharply against the white facade of City Hall.
Photography is looking with different eyes. For over 10 years I have tried to capture my view of the world through the lens. My favorite subjects are landscapes, nature, macro photography, cities and architecture.
