These poles are the remains of the first house for drowning people on the beach of Terschelling.
The house was struck by lightning and burned down.
The poles disappeared into the sea during a storm last year.
Since 1990 I have been working as a Wadden photographer in the World Heritage Site "The Wadden Sea" with its beautiful islands and bright lights between the tidal movements of ebb and flow.
Since 2004 I also work as a bird-watcher in the European natural monument "De Boschplaat" on Terschelling. For my photography a source of Inspiration.
